Deed between Mathew Dickery, Philip Burrow and Jeremiah Kimbro. This Indenture made this 23rd day of October in the year of our Lord 1811. Between Mathew Dickery of the County of Bedford and the State of Tennessee of the one part and Philip Burrow and Jeremiah Kimbro of Bedford and the State of Tennessee of the other part. Witnesseth that for the consideration of the sum of $600.00 to him the said Mathew Dickery in hand paid by the said Philip Burrow and Jeremiah Kimbro... The land is located ... in the second district of Bedford County and the Section on the West Waters of Big Flat Creek a south branch of Duck River... 203 acres.

13 May 1847 Jeremiah Kimbro to Mary Franklin and her heirs. Deed of Gift. For Love and affection Jeremiah Kimbro has for Mary Franklin, one half of his tract of land in Bedford County, Tennessee, in District #2, being and including the place whereon she now lives of about 50 acres. Borders Jeremiah Kimbro and his blacksmith shop and dwelling house. After the death of Mary Franklin, the land to be equally divided between Susan Franklin, Naomi Franklin and Ruth Franklin, daughters of Mary Franklin. Also, all the corn, wheat and corn now on hand except a reasonable supply for Jeremiah Kimbro's wife Elizabeth Kimbro's support. Wit: A.M. Holt and D.P.T. House and Samuel Yates. Reg.: 19 May 1847
*** NOTE: Jeremiah must have deed this land to Mary Franklin while on his deathbed. Because nine days later his son, Powell Kimbro is selling his interest in the estate to Joseph Holt (see below). (Was Jeremiah a Blacksmith?)
